Had my nose to the grindstone last couple weeks finishing some big projects. I didn't get to properly explain what went on regarding Leslie's project. The
SF Design center put on a contest of sorts where designers submitted proposals to design an apartment at
1 Rincon based on 1 of 4 themes. These themes are not readily available on the websites but Leslie's company
labexperiment won the bid for the bachelor google executive primary residence theme.
Leslie invited me to participate in the decor by decorating Ralph Lauren upholstered walls with giant black
Yeti crab designs (here is a picture of the
stencil. We did a number of
tests following one of my original
Yeti Crab Designs and eventually decided to go with black instead of the more accurate white color. Here is of the finished product in the
Labexperiment master bedroom.
